The Welcome Reception and Conference Dinner venues are within walking distance from the HGC. Delegates can meet in the foyer of the Hotel Grand Chancellor to walk or share cabs to the venue (depending on the weather), or make their own way to the venue.

Situated in Launceston’s new cultural precinct, the QVMAG at Inveresk is a vital part of the exciting redevelopment of the former Launceston Railway Workshops.
Guest Speaker Charles Wooley is acknowledged as perhaps Australia's most gifted media presenter and writer. At the dinner, this fiercely proud Tasmanian will bring his stories alive with a unique mix of wit and philosophy, a love of poetry and strong journalistic skills.
Delegates will have the pleasure of hearing an interesting and intriguing talk by Charles Wooley during the evening.
