Time to do business at the Australian Marketing Institute’s Regional Marketing Conference
Australia’s marketing professionals will have an unparalleled opportunity to develop their key skills at the Australian Marketing Institute’s Regional Marketing Conference to be held in Launceston Tasmania.
Held from 23-25 May at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, the dynamic three day event features over 22 keynote and informative sessions on the most relevant topics affecting marketing professionals today.
The event, which will also feature a cocktail party and official gala dinner, is hosted bi-annually by the Tasmanian branch of the Australian Marketing Institute, the key professional body for marketers.
“This event represents a fantastic opportunity for Australian marketing professionals to harness the knowledge and expertise of some of Australia’s leading business figures and to keep abreast of the latest developments in marketing in and to regional areas, an essential element in today’s challenging business environment,” said Allyson Warrington, President of the AMI’s Tasmanian Branch.
During this premier marketing event, attendees will hear from interstate experts and discover local Tasmanian success stories. The conference will feature expert presenters including David Mallinson, National Marketing Manager of Elders Australia Pty Ltd, Alan Stokes, Executive Director of the National Sea Change Taskforce, and Denis Horgan, Owner of Leeuwin Estate Vineyard and Winery.
The range of timely and relevant topics will include Attracting Investment and Regional Development, The Future of Regional Media in Australia, The Sea Change/Tree Change Phenomenon, and a look at the Characters of Regional Australia.
The AMI’s Regional Marketing Conference attracts marketing professionals from SME’s, private and public sectors, and industry professionals.
“Businesses expect our members to adopt best practice as well as keeping abreast of issues affecting the profession. This can often be a challenge, which is why this event is so important,” said Ms Warrington.
“However, this Conference is not just about learning new skills. It’s also a chance to be inspired by what others have achieved and provides great opportunities to network and connect with colleagues and peers.”
