Leishman Associates work within a team based environment. Your conference will have a team of dedicated people who will contribute towards the delivery. The team at Leishman Associates consists of:-
Paula Leishman, Managing Director
Paula is the owner and founder of the company and has had over 20 years experience in the management of conferences and events, ranging from a dinner for 50 to major public events for thousands.
Paula is a the Tasmanian representative and National Counciller of the Professional Conference Organisers Association; a committee member of MEA Tasmania, and a Director of the Australasian Alliance of Meetings Managers.
Andrea Goodwin, Senior Conference Manager
Andrea Goodwin has over 15 years experience in the hospitality and meetings industry. Combined with a Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tasmania, Andrea the ability to ensure that each event is tailored exclusively to meet each clients needs ensuring a superior level of service delivered through clear two way communication and attention to detail.
Andrea is thrilled to be back working in the fast paced and exciting Meeting and Events Industry “Its like wearing an old and comfortable pair of gloves” and happy to re-establish old relationships with many of the hard working people who have a passion for Conferencing.
Brigitte Cunningham, Conference Manager
Brigitte joins us with a wealth of experience in the tourism and destination marketing
industries. Having recently returned from Western Australia, Brigitte is organised and extremely capable and will be sure to impress her clients.
Cynthia Brinkman, Financial Support
Cynthia is responsible for the day to day management of client accounts, ensuring complete transparency. Cynthia also has a background in pharmacy.
Renee Brown, Sponsorship & Exhibition Manager
Renee has a background in hospitality, and is now in a dedicated role working on sponsorship and exhibition management for our clients. Renee was the recipient of MICEnet Young Gun of the Year Scholarship for 2006.

Stephanie Azzopardi, PA to Managing Director
Stephanie is our newest team member and works closely with Paula Leishman on all the Leishman projects. Welcome to the world of events Steph. We know that you're positive and friendly attitude will be a winner with our clients.
Leanne Bleathman, AMMA Secretariat & Conference Manager
Leanne has come back to Leishman Associates after leaving in 2003, and we welcome her back with open arms. Leanne is responsible for the management of the Australian Military Medicine Association, a secretariat that we have managed for the last ten years. She is also responsible for the management of the annual conference.
Teal Stanley, Conference Administrator
Teal is an extremely competent administrator. Not only that but her high standard of customer service suits the role of Conference Assistant where it is her role to process registrations and deal with the myriad of enquiries that we receive.
Jennifer Leishman, Conference Administrator
Jen is currently at the University of Tasmania studying a combined degree in Arts & Business majoring in Journalism and Marketing. When she's not at university, Jen assists the team as a conference administrator.
