We're really pleased to be working again with the organisers of the Home & Community Care Tasmanian State Conference. We managed the 2005 conference and now its time for this group to get together again. The event will be held in November at the Derwent Entertainment Centre and we're expecting 250 delegates to attend. We look forward to delivering a great conference again. The HACC members really deliver a valuable service within our community. We're proud to be associated with them.

Pacific Polymer Symposium, Cairns, December 2009

Women's Health Conference, Hobart, May 2010
This very important conference is only held every five years and we couldn't be happier to be chosen to work with a local and national committee on the important issues relating to Women's Health in Australia. The conference is expected to attract at least 800 delegates and run over 3 days. Keep watching our website for a link to the conference site which should be launched in July 2008.

Our long-term client Choice has extended our involvement in their business. LA will provide event management services working with their top 100 members to manage the Platinum Achiever Sessions held 8 times annually. We welcome to our list of clients, the Australasian Association for Institutional Research. We've had an involvement with this group in 2004 when they were involved in the Tertiary Education Management Conference and now we have the pleasure of managing their conference in Canberra later this year. Welcome to Debby Gairns and the committee, we look forward to a long association.

The Australian Association of Special Education and Early Childhood Education Australia have teamed up to conduct the Working in Partnership conference being held in Hobart in July 2008. We know its going to be a great conference.

She's fitted in really well into our team and she'll make a great contribution. She's answering to two nicknames already "Jonesy" or "Brig". Welcome Brigitte.

PCO’s touring tip for Tasmania

The Wall in the Wilderness is the most wonderful art exhibition. Created by Greg Duncan, its a must see for anyone coming to Tasmania. Check out the website

Located in the central Tasmanian town of Derwent Bridge, The Wall is Australia's most ambitious art project undertaken in recent years. By 2015 creator/designer, Greg Duncan, plans to carve the history of Tasmania's central highlands in 100 panels of Huon pine. Each panel is three metres high and one metre wide.

The beautifully carved works set out in high relive the history, hardship and perserverence of the people of the central highlands, and pay homage to the individuals who settled and protected the area.

Duncan is already known for the uncanny realism he brings to his work and his pieces are sought after by collectors around the world. Each metre of the panels, including horses, thylacines and miners represents a month’s work. There almost certainly is nothing like this anywhere else in Australia.
