THE THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN HAS MOVED!!!
Following ongoing political instability and flooding in Fiji, the two Societies made a decision to move the planned Conference from Fiji to an even more exotic destination - Vanuatu!
Members of ASAM and AMSANZ NZ (Inc) were cordially invited to an excellent meeting to escape
the blues of winter and economic recession.
The meeting will run from the evening of Wed 26 August to the morning of Sunday 30 August. The scientific program will include Patterson Trust Lecturer, Dr. Petra Illig from Alaska, and the John Lane Orator Lecturer, Dr. Bill Griggs from Adelaide whose presentation, will be titled “The Evolution of Aeromedical Evacuation”
Formal registration brochures will follow in the next month but early bird registration cost has been reduced from 2008 ASAM fees with special thanks to support from ASAM who will be celebrating their 60th Anniversary in 2009 - Early bird AUD$775.00.
Accommodation approximately A$1100 for 4 nights. Accommodation options will be provided shortly. Information will be added to the web site as it comes to hand and electronic notices will be sent to advise of further information on program, abstract submission and registration dates.
