The 2007 Reggio Emilia - Landscapes of Possibility Conference has now concluded and what a conference it was! Delegates were kept busy from the moment they arrived with tours, workshops and presentations. When they were listening to presentations from our international visitors from Reggio Emilia, they were building new networks with colleagues from across Australia.

Watch this space as we will soon be posting pictures from the Conference.

Landscapes of Possibility

From the beginning of their work, over forty years ago, the educators of young children in the city of Reggio Emilia understood the need to connect their pedagogical principles, theories and philosophy with an innovative concept of organisation that would facilitate and support their practice.

This is represented in the organisation of:
- the physical environment; projects to support meaning-making and understanding
- support for the development of skills in the expressive arts
- the continous inquiry of both children and educators
- the professional learning of educators
- support for the development of relationships both with and between groups of children, educators, families and the wider community.

We are fortunate to have three educators from Reggio Emilia as Keynote Speakers at our conference and we invite our community to come together in Hobart for 4 days of Learning, Living and Making Connections.
