EXHIBITION
The Hundred Languages of Children
12th July - 2nd August, 2007
The Long Gallery, Salamanca Place
Hobart, Tasmania
The Hundred Languages of Children is a 'Narrative of the Possible'. It is a travelling exhibition that was conceived by Loris Malaguzzi, the philosopher and educational theorist of the world-acclaimed programs for young children in the City of Reggio Emilia.
The exhibition provides a beautiful and intriguing display of children's theories illustrated through words, paintings, drawings and sculptures that make visible their potential as scientists, inventors, authors and artists.
The exhibition demonstrates that children are endlessly curious and full of wonder and joy as they actively make connections and attempt to understand their world.
There is no set time for a tour to this Exhibition - however delegates are encouraged to visit the Long Gallery during their stay in Hobart.

It is right on the spot where Lieutenant-Governor David Collins stepped ashore to establish the colony of Hobart in 1804. And with fishing fleets laden with succulent fish and seafood mooring beneath your window, this is also one the most beautiful waterfront hotel
locations in Australia.
Tickets are $55.00 per person, food only, shared platters of beef, fish, vegetables, salad, dessert. Drinks will be available on purchase basis.
Possible optional bus $10.00
