Registration desk
The Registration Desk will be located in the lobby of the Old Woolstore and will be open from Thursday 3 April, 2008 until Sunday the 6th of April, 2008. Opening times will be published at a later date.Airport Transfers
Taxis and shuttle buses offer the most convenient transfers between the airport and Hobart city. Taxis from the airport cost approximately $30.00. The shuttle service will connect to most major hotels and costs $12.00.Getting About Hobart
Delegates will find Hobart a very accessible city. Public transport facilities in Hobart are excellent, with frequent bus services. Taxis abound and are reasonably priced. Please note that due to the central location of the conference venue, that there will not be a daily shuttle service to and from various hotels.Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that participants take out their own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, airfares, accommodation charges, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses. The organising committee and Leishman Associates do not take responsibility for any delegate failing to take adequate insurance cover.Climate & Clothing
Tasmania has a maritime climate with mild days and cool nights. During April the average daily maximum temperature is 10-18C. As Tasmania's weather is varied and changeable we suggest you bring clothing that can be layered, as well as a warm, waterproof outdoor jacket.Visit the Bureau of Meteorology for more information. You’ll enjoy the clear skies, and fresh air. If you are planning on touring, you may consider bringing a sturdy pair of walking boots.

There are no photocopying facilities at the conference venue, so please ensure your bring a sufficient number of any handouts. Alternatively if you require the location of the nearest facility, don’t hesitate to ask that staff from Leishman Associates.Smoking
The conference and social functions are non-smoking.Name Badges
Name badges will be issued when registering at the conference. For security purposes the conference name badge must be worn at all times during the conference and social functions.Baby Sitting
Please contact your chosen hotel to arrange a baby-sitting service. If you have any queries please contact Leishman Associates.Parking
Parking is available at the Old Woolstore for guests of the hotel. There may be some daily parking available depending on the needs of the hotel. You would have to ask the Parking Attendant on the day you wish to use the car park. Otherwise there are a number of private and council car parks close by.
