Come along and help WILDCARE Inc. celebrate its 10th bir thday!! Food, drinks, music, friends. These will be very informal and relaxed celebrations and is not included in the registration fee.

CONFERENCE DINNER OPTIONS

The committee has decided to chose one restaurant for the Saturday evening optional dinner. One of the objectives of the conference is to network and share experiences.

What better way than to spend an evening at one of Hobart’s best waterfront Restaurants – Blue Skies Restaurant.  Delegates will enjoy the relaxed, casual atmosphere, modern Australian food right on the waters edge in the centre of Sullivans Cove.

If you still have a little spring left after your meal, please come and join us for a few drinks at Knopwoods Retreat, with almost two centuries of colourful history, packed with a colourful mixed crowd.

Field Trips - Sunday 6th April 2008

DUE TO NOT REACHING MINIMUM NUMBERS FOR THE VARIOUS TOURS WE HAVE CHOSEN TO PROVIDE THE TOUR WITH THE MOST BOOKINGS.

BRUNY ISLAND: $90

A package which includes a scenic bus drive from Hobart to Bruny Island, morning tea, the 3hr Environmental Cruise (11am to 3pm) and Lunch. It departs the Tasmanian Visitor and Information Centre (cnr Davey & Elizabeth Sts, Hobart) at 8.00am (be there at 7.50am) and returns to Hobart at around 5.30pm.

Untouched wilderness and abundant wildlife are the highlights of this 3hour, 50 km Environmental Cruise. Be surrounded by Australia’s highest unique cliffs, view beautiful remote bays, the mysterious breathing rock, massive secret caves and sculpted rocky islands. Visit the Friar Rocks, home to over 1000 Australian Fur Seals. Observe dolphins and extensive birdlife. Experience nature at it’s unspoiled best.  A portion of each ticket sale goes into the Tasmanian Coast Conservation Fund. Tasmania’s first natural partner fund established by WildCare Inc.
